Theme Edo Castle and Japanese Trees in Complimentary Colors

November 08 2008. Vectors, Vectors, and more vectors. The design here was to be a beautiful vector and integrate a different sort of approach to navigation. I had solid colors all around but a blended navigation along with side navigation built into the header itself. I loved the feel this layout gave, it was tranquil and beautiful but not at all a calming scene. The birds and little details really gave this layout all of it’s body

Challenge
The layout was very challenging because vectoring the images was very difficult. I liked the silhouette effect of the castle and the trees blending into the the background. It gave the layout the perspective of layering without changing hues or colors
