Background
The NICD (National Institute of Clinical Dentistry) is a website for a clinic based in India that caters to international customers. Hence, they wanted a simple yet eye-catching layout that was bright and easy to understand as well as edit.

Design
August 15, 2009. The design idea was to have a prominent navigation along with prominent icons to attract the attention of the users. The color theme was based on the logo of the clinic, which was a teal green. T

Integration
The coding was done entirely in css and then tied into textpattern. The navigation was a more complicated css hover that required different stylesheets for each section in terms of the background position. This was all set in textpattern so that the owner could easily edit and expand the website. The hierarchy system was two tier. The image above was tied in so that it was within the article tie-in and could be replaced at will by the client.
